After translation, the text is reviewed. Has standardized terminology been used? Is the translation faithful, both meaning and function, to the original? Is the meaning of the text easily grasped, does it read fluently? Are there any punctuation errors?
Translations into a foreign language are reviewed by an experienced editor who is a native speaker of the target language. For review purposes, a specially-designed checklist is used to document each step of the review process.
